Ages ago, I wrote about a CIE game – CIE meaning Central Institute for Education, a Canadian E-ARG. Well, I forgot all about it until I saw that they’ve gone into beta. I’ve signed up, and I also might sign up for a little writing job too. Why not?
Archive for the “Uncategorized” CategoryHappy New Year to all. This year is MA dissertation year, so I will be ARGing it up in 2008. I’m guessing you all got the Argnet email about new/restarting games, but if not, you can see it here. I’m also still mulling over ideas for a Tate Kids ARG in the Jamie Kane-vein and hoping our friends at BT will sponsor us, so if anyone has any thoughts on this, get in touch. Also, Mind Candy have released their Beta of Moshi Monsters which is shaping up well, methinks, and we’ll be thinking of ways we can work together this year. All very exciting. I’m going to Mind Candy for two half days next week, so I will be able to give you the low-down on how it went this time then. In the meantime I’m planning on giving this blog some structure – I need to decide whether I should start planning an ARG for Education in this blog, or just talk about it randomly…also need to check whether this will have too much overlap on the disseration…I’m off to consult the Powers That Be, and will be back in touch. Mind Candy have offered me work experience testing season two of Perplex City, their very successful ARG. I’m so excited, it’s not even funny. As I’m planning on doing my dissertation in this area, it’s brilliant. I just have to hope that my current job let me out for a bit. I will be signing an NDA, so I won’t be able to post full reports of each session here, but once it’s released I will fill you in! Too excited. Breathe, breathe. Why not? |
